Kim Loken's experience spans civic, commercial, and residential projects. Her approach to each is further informed by a storytelling mindset cultivated in scenic design work.
As an Associate at Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners, she helmed a variety of adaptive reuse, historic preservation and new construction projects in New York City and led the exhibit design for the Red Star Line Museum in Antwerp, Belgium.
She is a licensed architect and LEED accredited professional.
Teaching at the University of Wisconsin-Stout invigorates her practice and provides the opportunity to mentor young designers in a variety of disciplines.
